    Evil Omen 2 Grips?

Well, I did a bad thing! I know these things are problematic at best but I happened a across a cheap one and got the itch. Unfortunately, I already hit a bump in the road as the original grips were basically sticky, slimy jello so I tossed em figuring I would just throw something else on there. I dunno if I was just tired or tipsy or what but I totally failed to notice that they are a nonstandard size and hole pattern, as well as having carveouts for the clapper and battery. D'oh!

Long story short, does anyone have any ideas on where I can pick up something that can work? Stock or modified, I am down to put in a little effort, I just don't want to spend money guessing/hoping something fits.

Side note, I rebuilt the (Evil Detonator) but air to it and it cycles well, so there is that. TIA!

They are obnoxiously unique, I think only the Omen and a particular E-Piranha use these grips. In many cases they will be in similar falling apart condition.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. Guess I should have kept em and just wrapped em in tape or something. Love and learn 😂

RuleOfSines (and whoever this may help) you were correct that Piranha Evo grips fit pretty much perfect. They will need to be dremmeled out a bit for the battery but the design fits perfectly otherwise. I just happened to have one sitting around and was able to test. Of course, now where to find another set of Evo grips 😂

Maybe somebody could 3D print some new ones.

Oh, that's a good idea. I have no idea where to start on that but worth a shot. Thanks!

3D print TPU grips would be pretty easy

I will look in to it, thanks. Do you know anything about it? That is not something I have much familiarity with. I think I could template the dimensions but any idea of easy software, etc? Thanks!

Personally I use fusion360 which has about a million instructional videos on YouTube..

something like grips are pretty easy, what I would do cover the grip with masking tape then either poke holes, draw, cut out any of the critical features like overall shape, screw holes or where the solenoid recess needs to be, then take the tape and attach it to a piece of white paper and scan that (if you have a scanner… I do so it’s what’s easiest for me). From there you can open up the scan in fusion and create a template there.
