Automag ID/info?

It has an engraving for Reaper Customs Paintball but I can’t find any info. Also stamped with the number 13 on the other side. It has an X valve and lvl 10 bolt.

It has all the internals on an Automag. The body is obviously custom. It’s autococker threaded and shoots very smooth. Everything looks like it was really well taken care of but I can’t find any info about a Reapers Custom or what the backstory is here.

I have 009 as I recall. I too know little about the backstory on these. I picked it off eBay about a year ago.

All I can say is the name sounds familiar.

These dropped during a period when I was more focused on tournaments then fun paintball stuff so the first 9 years of the millennium, a lot of my milsim knowledge is just through other players

That makes the 3rd I have seen over the years. From William the Third comment I assume he got the one that popped up around a year ago. These have always interested me. But I have never been able to find out any info on them.

In case you guys can't see it, on the side of the mag well it says "reaper custom paintball"

But a quick search says at least Google has forgotten they existed. I don't have time right now to go into more depth but without a model name I can't even find another photo of this thing

If recall correctly these were made with real AR uppers and lowers

I don't believe this to be at least fully the case, as the lower receiver would have serial marking information. More than likely, airsoft bodies.

Not necessarily 80% lowers aren’t serialized and at one time they use to cost next to nothing. also an airsoft lower would more than likely have mock if not functional trigger group pins. This one only has one pin hole drilled.

The keymod handguard was designed / released around 2012. The tragedy of this product is all the effort to get the body right but, then to require a hopper (and giant feedneck). All of this happening as MagFed was rising in popularity.
