I have a Ninja Ultralight reg that uses shims. Mine came with 2 red and 1 silver. I own an Automag, and want to get some reactivity. Has anyone ever stuck 3 red shims in the reg and know what the PSI output would be?

No two regs will be the same, so the only way to know is to use a reg output tester. Always fill very slowly when testing, as it is possible to put in enough shims to disable to reg completely, causing you to blow out your 1.8k burst disc.I can haz feedback?

The tank I use for my Phantom has 3 red shims and 1 blue shim. Gets me to 825psi. Results may vary.Comment

Each shim, in general adjusts around 150 psi so you shouldn't be in any danger territory by adding an extra
