Looks like a Sidekick. I don't think they were made for very long, but I never heard any complaints about them. I always thought they were cool.

I'd guess 100-150, but one hasn't been listed here for quite some time. I was reading about them in APG when they were new, lol. What's in the rest of the lot?

                Whats their issue?
From the warping article it seams like they kinda leak all the time? Anything else to know about?

I'll go pick it up this week if I can.

I've got a handful of em somewhere in my crates. Yes they leak constantly, one version of the valve I found sealed up nicely using a pair of quad o-rings. They are also an example of a marker that I think, had they been more reliable, would have lived long enough to fail in a more dangerous manner. The Bolt is made out of plastic, and is pushed forward by a small metal ram. Picture an automag bolt, but if you separated the center piece. I have one where the metal ram blew out through the center of the bolt, turning it into a single shot dart gun.

Oh also worth noting, based on the picture that particular one may be equipped with a spring feed, can't be sure though from this angle. Would be obvious from the other side:

                          It has the springfeed.
its in pristine condition ... The guy said he used it a few times and put it away ... (Without cleaning the barrel... 😒)

Sounds like it may be more of a wall hanger than a primary pistol ...

It's the same principle as a .22 rifle feed tube.

There is 2 ways to load it:
You can pull the spring loaded tube out, dump the paint into the gun and (keeping the gun pointed up) replace the tube, compressing the spring. Same as the .22 rifle.
Or push and hold the paint into the spring loaded tube and hold them down. This is easy to have all the paint fly out when you attempt to replace the tube in place.

Make sense, I only had the second method in my head and paint flying everywhere...

That's always the first one you try ... Then you spend the next 3 weeks reinventing everything 😁

I had to re-make an account just to say thank you for finding that relic. The hard part was actually finding Goob. He hadn't been in the online community since lord knows when. I got his number from an acquaintance of his that worked on gear belts and packs for speedball I think.
