MXR Connor Kit

Hello everyone,

Looking to see if anyone knows the oring sizes and u-cup that make up the Dye MXR "Connor Kit" or where to get one.

I ask because I have one on the way from a trade and am gathering all the info, on all things MXR so that I can actually use the marker. I dont need flashbacks of my of the flamethrower that was a Vapor Bushmaster 2000 and 12 volt revvie.

I had his guide, but it won't download anymore. You can join the Dye MXR Owners Group on Facebook, and search for Connor Smith. Message him and he will get you set up. Personally, I would just run the stock o-rings. I ran into two separate issues when running the Connor kit, and went back to stock. In any case, the correct size for the TAAC is an 016. I would also check out the Arla Eye board from Sci Fi Paintball. That is by far one of the most worthwhile upgrades to have come out for the MXR so far,

Awesome thank you. I dont have FB so tough luck there. I have seen the ARLA board. I wont be able to use the marker until March so I have all the time to read and do research. There doesnt seem to be a lot out there thats openly available.

The short answer is that the eyes that came stock are way underpowered, which could cause you to have an eye fault fairly easily if you happened to break a ball in the breech. The way the eyes were designed with the use of eye towers, it was not easy to clean if you found yourself in this predicament, which wouldn't allow you to clear the eye fault. The new board has much more robust, powerful eyes that are much easier to clear, thus no eye fault.

I appreciate it. I have seen a few more recent videos on the tube of eye tower issues. I just bought the board so it will arrive while Im gone on this business trip as well as the gun. From what I gather it should be pretty good to go. I may buy the oring kit from Dye so that is at home waiting for me as well. Its a FF Pipe MXR and I havent seen one review at all on those.
