I have 1. I love it. I use a bio detergent in it. I'll check tomorrow on size. I know I bought the largest I could find. Works great when I buy used markers. Strip em, clean em, reseal em.

I'm finding some that are like 30L which seems like overkill

When I figure out which bin it's in, I'll see. That does seem large. I'm think 4L. I know I can strip several markers and clean them all. I think I used a hoppes cleanser.
I mean it was like $100. Heats the water, vibrates. That's priceless when you get old gunked up cocker parts. Add some Brasso on the multi tool. My OCD likes it 😆.
Been there done that. I work on a lot of ex rentals. Dropping them in a tank and being able to work on something else while they get clean sounds fantastic

I don't have one but here is a hack that I have heard.
Lets say you have a very dirty carborator. The best thing is a volitile solven. Put the solvent and carm in a safe container that will fit in the ultrasonic. You sill the ulrtasonic with plain water, put the solvent container in the water, boom problem solved. Now if you need to clean something a little more delicate at the same time a different container can be fit in too!

Yeah I was reading that. I'm basing the size of the tub off of a tippmann 98 shell since that's about the largest thing I'll be putting in it so I'm looking at 11.5" x 7" minimum. That 7" can be depth as well but I'm finding that's not very common. But, I can't really put a 98 shell in it's own container and then the container in the tub so the water in the tub is going to get dirty.

I saw a video a few years back where someone made a GIANT ultrasonic from a stainless utility sink. It can serve double duty as both a utility sink and the ultrasonic. Easy to drain, and hot or cold water supply right there
I've got the 2.5 liter unit from harbor freight. It works great but it's kinda small. It's fun to find random stuff to throw in and see how clean it comes out, also cleans your fingertips really well.
digging my Vevor 10L from amazon. seems to be ample space for all the Ano parts I'm prepping. need to play with other detergents - its just been simple green. heats up super fast. the noise does suck - its a very annoying tinny whine.
I have a 6 liter chinese unit. Works great for paintball parts. Be careful if your ever putting in raw aluminum parts as it can cause pitting with the heater on. If you preheat before putting the parts in you'll be okay.
