What are some of you pimp players doing about barrel organization? It's getting really out of hand here. I'm constantly grabbing the wrong thread barrels or they are just tossed in a box getting all dinged up. Or i bring a pile to games and inevitably have forgotten the one I wanted to use. I need a better system to organize, store and transport them. Even labeling them would be nice. I was thinking about getting some clear tubing and dropping them in that with capped ends like they used to do but that seems like more of a rolley mess. They just can't live in bags and boxes anymore.

Own less barrels?
I don't have the problem of different threads, everything I shoot is cocker but I have 3 different kits and each has it's own case so they stay well organized.

Thought about something like this? Just keep each thread in it's own case

I bought some heavy duty foam with barrel sized holes and store them upright. I think someone on here was selling them a few years back. Not a pretty solution, but works well and keeps them from rolling around and getting dinged up.💀 PK x Ragnastock 💀Comment

Threads I run are cocker, ion, two spyder threads and automags. The mags are easy to keep contained but the others get crossed, especially when you add in freak tips, stuffy tips and evil tips. I've actually tossed a lot of barrels recently but I still have about 20 that get used enough to keep.
The barrel sleeve is slick. I'm gonna look into that.
I thought about 3d printing something to group them together. No great ideas yet.
Socks came to mind as well.
I could also make some leather pouches for them.
Keep the ideas coming!Comment

These are nice and cheap. I got one with their barrel kit and it works great. I own a lot of one-piece barrels I actually preferer them and this works phenomenal.

Wait.. you guys don't all have barrel trees??
The over flow is in fishnet thread protectors in a bin.
Edit: this was a mop or broom display. Bus is now a blooming barrel tree.1 PhotoComment

Old barrel bags for those I use, and a box for those I don't

I second ham danger clodes old sock idea. I can keep a barrel or two in each gun bag and it keeps things from beating each other up. I suppose new socks could work also.Comment

I lucked into an aluminum case and a bunch of white foam sheet for free. My brother had saved some packing material for long thin flourescent bulbs from his shop made of the same white foam. The rest was a spray glue and cutting extravaganzing leading to this barrel case.
There is room enough in the top for a marker or two as well. One piece of the bulb packing material was too smashed up to use, but you can get the idea.
