Havoc Launcher High Velocity

I have a havoc launcher that seems to shoot just fine, but the velocity is on the high side. Currently shooting 275 fps and the internal reg does not seem to be functioning properly.

It has fresh orings on the 3 oring piston and plenty of grease. Any thoughts on what else to try. Is there a specific input pressure range i should be shooting for on these?
Tank i am using has an out put of 615psi. I suppose if i can't get the reg to function in time i may try dropping the tank pressure until it works in the sub 230 range.

Around 3:15 he gets into the regulator but it's a pretty cursory check in the video. If it's not adjusting that's where I would start

It dosent have a traditional reg seat. It was their own proprietary reg design.

There isn't a regulator seat, per se.
You want urethane oring's on the piston, rubber tend to roll while just installing the piston, especially so if is a gen1 body with the pressure relief hole.

I used urethane on the 2 smaller and buna ones n the larger oring.

excerpt from manual found online, useful to me when I was
blowing fins off $ foam rockets. I recall reading somewhere that 135psi is the key. Where the top hat of the adjustment knob is level with the body. I’ve seen some users add a pressure gauge to their body. I rebuild the low pressure regulator twice, oddly the color orings that people often don’t like worked on the second try and made it through two days of scenario play. I did take a mini bottle brush and scrubbed out the inner diameter of the low pressure regulator area on my second rebuild attempt. Facebook has a forum and the moderators are responsive and experienced.

Maybe i will swap the orings and make sure it is good and clean. If that doesn't do it, i will be installing an external reg to get it functional for the upcoming game.

Ya i actually tried to use it at fulda a few years back, but the AT cards were taken. I know there will be at least 1 or 2 tanks on the opposite side for this game so i at least want it available to use.
