Saw this posted to a Facebook group and the picture and the publication date has me stumped. Doesn't look like an ATS. Did someone try putting the clockwork cyclone from a Tippmann F/A on an Automag RT?

I think this is a prototype of something I remember hearing about this in the 90s. It's very possible that this is actually a warp feed in the early stages

Simon Stevens developed one of the first (if not the first) force fed loaders and it looked a bit like this. I think it influenced the warp feed design a few years later.

It looks very similar and is even mounted on a mag. Could be one of the prototypes.

I checked with Simon, and he said the picture is actually of him, holding the prototype.

The picture was taken for an earlier profile of him as a designer/inventor, and apparently that news syndicate pulled the photo about a year later without his knowledge and reused it for this article.

It's remarkable that a photo of such a rare and unorthodox prototype ended up being used as a "stock" paintball photo.
