    Most Efficient Cocker

The enginerd inside me is always debating this. Is there any actual drawback to the standard single actuator design, where the back block does the real work? Any real benefit to a midblock actuating on both the bolt and hammer? Anything more than my own smug sense of self satisfaction that I set things up my own proper way? Or that nothing is going to wear out by the time i get bored and swap parts out? Probably time to try and stop thinking and go to bed.

In theory the midblock is the least amount of reciprocating mass you can have. Less mass= less LPR force and dwell timing needed to make it all move.

Honestly I think it would be pretty hard to prove the efficiency part just by switching to a midblock though. For be the reduction of mass I was aiming to gain a smooth fast marker which worked out. Mq2 had a big hand in it as well though

I feel like either MQ2, full AKA midblock, or micro midget with a very high flow valve like a lazarus with an HPR that has a large capacity like a sidewinder.

I know my karnivor, which was all stock save for an AKA lower tube kit, was getting close to 12 pods from a 68/45 at some point, which is about 1700ish shots. That's only 2 pods short of an average g6r

Reading old magazine reviews you’d think all autocockers got “almost a case” per fill. 🤣

Haha, right?? It’s not like it takes much to be more efficient than a shoebox Shocker or an old LCD Matrix.

Maybe they were only shooting 200 fps or something for the VF-Tactical article. 🤣

It's so funny seeing things like a case off a 45/45. No wonder people fall for crap like the butter mod, whatever cesare pizzo slings, and the countless other hacks that come and go

Midblock= less(none) cocking rod damage to goggles = less operating cost= more efficient

you cant argue with that logic

Very true. Less lens's helps keep costs down. I've taken a few bonks in the goggles when tucking in tight.

Theoretically a midblock would be more efficient but on such a small scale it means basically nothing. You might gain 10-20 shots over the course of a full fill.
