    Timmy Board Options

Working on updating my ND Timmy and pondering a modern board. There appears to be two options a FloryPB Board and Vaporworks board. I don't play speedball, so compliance to various rules aren't an issue for me, but the original board - LCD is dying and soon to be dead, figure might as well get a board that should last. What board would you suggest and why?

It's an LED? Usually they came with LCDs in the grip.

To be perfectly honest with all you're going to do is be ripping around rec ball I would just look for frenzy board which is the stock LCD that usually come with them they were perfectly capable of being a semi board. If you want modes look for a a 118 flash I think... It's been like 20 years

I like the Flory boards because they are easy to use and change settings. The downside is they eat batteries due to them being based on a Matrix chip. It's not uncommon for me to forget to take out the battery then remember a week later and it's dead.

Now, I have no experience with Vaporworks Intimidator board but the ICD one is kind of a pain to use since you have to count flashes for each sub menu and it's easy to forget where you are. However, they do just about have all the adjustability you could ever want.

Overall I lean Flory for ease of use. Just remember to take the battery out when you're not using it.
