Mystery Impulse valve "we have a rip valve at home"

    Hello All,

I have what appears to be some sort of homebrew impulse valve that might be "inspired" by the rip valve. The stem appears to have an oring groove (maybe for a 003?) and the face appears to be set up for autococker valve springs (unsure how that would work unless the valve cap was really short like the 1st gen impulses or something). Pictured next to a real rip valve for comparison (rip valve NOT FOR SALE )

    Ever seen anything like this?
