Tried playing with my kp2 the other weekend and I had a really hard time hitting anything. When shouldering the gun normally the stock hits my mask so there is no way for me to look down the barrel. Most of the time I would have to chicken wing my arm turning the gun to eye level. Is there a better way to do this??
How do you guy aim rifle stocked guns?

You could chop the butt off and turn it into a "pirate" grip, you can do a bit of custom work to the stock and reconfigure it to fit better, you can chop a section of the butt out so your mask fits.... anything you want, really.
I find Flexes work the best with wood stocked guns too.Comment

With my kp3 I have the same issue. Its a big reason I prefer a pirate. I cant bring myself to cut up the stock though. Ive gottan a few kills with my kp3. You dont aim down the gun though. Keep your head up, and both eyes open, and watch where the paint is going. Try to use the tip of the barrel in your peripheral vision as a reference for aiming.
Then just add trigger time and itll come together.Comment

I love my wood stocks.
I grew up the son of an avid hunter who brought me along from an early age.
So, I was accustomed to the platform long before paintball came along. Even then, it was years before I got hold of a KP.
Perhaps familiarity made the transition easier for me, but I've never had an issue with mask interference or have to "chicken wing".
