A5 / vortex different receiver nut size impacts on RT

I’m trying to install an older version of an RT onto a Tacamo vortex -

for some reason they changed the receiver nut size !?!??

im guessing all tippmann A5s have same nut sizes (on the receiver)

but they differ on the vortex

is anyone aware of a slightly smaller RT part to accommodate this change ?

or do I need to shave off ~1mm from all 6 sides ?

    thanks

Doesn’t the flow control banjo just past through the receiver hole and thread in to a 90 degree barb that’s located internally or am I mistaken? I’m not sure why you’d even need a nut.

You don’t need a nut but a part of the RT is shaped like a nut - and you need that or some type of work around.

Vortex wasn't made by Tippmann and didn't need to adhere to Tippmann manufactured parts

Totally but I don’t know why they would overlook this and prevent RT
