Saving carbon barrel tip

I have a Deadlywind tip that is split and delaminating inside the insert side.

Anyone know what type of epoxy is used to mate them,? What solvents or not can I use to separate them?

I am pretty sure I can just cut the affected part and reglue it after crowning.

I should have taken some pictures.
Lots of heat was the answer.
I applied enough heat to ruin the anno on the tip, and the carbon slid right out, cut it, sanded it smooth, and down in diameter then hammered it back in with 2 pieces of wood.
