    Reg Swap - 13/3000 and 48/3000

I’m thinking of swapping the regs on my Ninja 48/3000 and my HK 13/3000. The HK has had a slight leak ever since I got it and isn’t conducive to worry free ‘stock class’ HPA play (having to pump multiple times without loading an extra ball in order to keep the pressure up if I don’t shoot right away).

Would I have any issues swapping over the 48/3000 ninja reg to the 13/3000 tank?

Thanks very much for any help and insights!

Nope, all of the bottles available now are same threads. Just make sure you clean up the threads well and no debrief left in the bottle and swap. If your Ninja reg is one with the ball instead of a pin I believe Ninja is replacing them. My one bottle that leaks down all the time is one of Ninja's regs with the ball.

Thank you Grendel and Chuck; that’s great insight.

In terms of the Ninja reg mine is the ball reg; I’ve never had an issue (other than with an empire sniper asa) but it sounds like it would be worth replacing. I’ll have to give ninja a call

I love ninja regs they are so easy to adjust and are really consistent but, those ball valve reg bonnets are the worst design ever. The bonnets check valve most likely just needs a good cleaning to seal right. Maybe a new sealing oring at most. It probably just needs a good service.

I have NEVER experienced any issues with my ball valve Ninja and I've had it for ~4 years. I must be one of the WEIRD ONES

Biggest issue I have had is some on/offs will not work in particular my Shock Tech on/off that was on my Pyre then this last year it leaks down (slowly) when in my bag. Not a huge deal but annoying. Ninja did dump the ball valve design and went back to a pin and someone on here or FB said they would replace the bonnet with a Pin Valve (unverified). I've been too lazy to call them, I too am a big fan of the company and as my bottles have expired I gone ahead and bought theirs.
