Hinge on a Resurrection (non rip frame)

It's late/early and I'm not looking at my parts (so I may be missing something obvious) but after searching around for a rip frame for the 20th time I had a thought... Can I just use an old hinge frame instead and only modify the frame, not the body?

I have seen examples of people modding the body (taking off the nubs on the body and drilling a new hole in the frame I believe) but my thought was can I carve out space for the nubs in the frame, drill a new hole(s) switch hoses and call it a day? Or is there an issue getting other things to line up like the 3 way? Probably need a new timing rod?

I'm guessing I'm missing something obvious but I figured I would throw it out there since I have a few old hinges gathering dust. TIA!

There is a difference in the height of the 3-way in relation to the frame as well.
I am not sure which frames will work. The inception frames offer plates for resurrection, and wgp bodies.
Need Inception Designs or Shocktech Products? Let me know!

the timing rod on an empire body is about 1/8 higher so a normal frame usually doesn't work. Need inception frames with the empire plate installed.

it has been done before, and I believe the front block on a karni will put the 3way in the correct position

i would specifically recommend the vertical style ones gene from autocockerparts had made a few years back if you can locate one
