ID on ion body and frame

    Howdy everybody!

Im working on bringing this ion back to life, as well as trying to give info on what's what in it. Im at a loss for this body and the frame. I cant find any branding or logos, and after some intense googling, I cant find anything.

The body is also the can and everything, is BoB, AC threaded, and uses regular wire eyes.

The frame has a membrane switch hookup, and has "TAG" on the switch. The VASA is also removable.

Any help with an ID would be very greatly appreciated.

Lucky frame I believe and possibly a lucky body. Pretty much the top of the line for Ions if that’s what they are.

Looks like youre right. Adding lucky was enough to find old PBN listings and such. Thanks a ton

Glad that helped to track down. Definitely top tier ion pieces you’ve got yourself there.

If you ever decide to let it go, lmk. Not a fan of the frame, but would love it for the body and possibly internals

What are the internals on that gun? My memory is fuzzy but, I remember that body being associated with MAC solenoids and, non-SP ribbon eye styles. I must admit though- all that work to improve the feel of the grip but, not fixing the goofy rear frame screw, this isn't a Lucky unique issue for sure.

Lucky did make a mac33 + qev kit which you paired with their boards. They also made a long tail and 2 piece tailless bolt kit. They used wire laser eyes on the 5.0 and 5.1 bodies
