    Where to get small springs?

I need to replace the trigger spring on my Bushmaster and need to get a relatively custom tiny spring 3mmx33mm. I've checked the obvious spots like my local home deport and ace hardware with no luck. And so far it's gonna be close to 25 dollars with shipping for tiny spring from mcmaster carr.

Are there any ideas I'm missing or do I have to bite the bullet on crazy shipping fees on something that could get lost in an envelope?

I’m in the same boat but with another frame. I’ve been trying to find an off the shelf return spring locally but no luck. I think a Nelson return spring would work with the bushy. Bacci might have springs but his site is down and will be for a while more. If you happen to find a replacement let me know👍🏼

Unfortunately I need an extension spring not a compression spring and the one I tried to make out of a pen spring didn't last

Lee, Century, Misumi, SDP-Si, and a few others have given me better or worse options on shipping and quantities in the past. And frankly, if you're willing to suffer an awful search interface, Amazon has certain sizes really cheap in bulk.

My personal finance app thinks McMaster is a weekly bill, so I usually just load springs into my cart and wait for the next big order I place.

I found a pack of small assorted springs (including both compression and extension) at Home Depot the other day.

Yea sadly ace and home Depot didn't have anything that would match the odd specs I needed either individually or in their odds combos packs from what I could see.

I ended up ordering through mcmcaster carr, but definitely intend to check out the recommendations that flyweightnate suggested next time around!
