    ICD Cat ID and Info

This ICD Cat popped up on eBay locally and I've been interested in picking one up. I know nothing about these. What specific model is this, what is is worth? Anything I should know in general about these ICD markers? I know the tanks are all dead. Don't care much about the rest of the gear, just the ICD.

Looks like a Puma to me with the interlocking features between the upper and lower receivers. https://www.cognitivevent.com/in_pai...eory.html#cats

No idea on value, I think Alley Cats / Thunder Cats go for $70-100 these days. I think a Puma would be worth more due to age/rarity. Also the additional parts that one has (sight rail riser, 45 grip frame, T-stock).

The nicest blowbacks ever made. Make sure it comes with the powerfeed plug because they're proprietary IIRC.

It does not look like it has one from the picture. It's on eBay so don't have the chance to look at it in hand before buying.

An automag power feed will work, but you need to put a spacer on ring on the neck to shorten it.

BrickHaus is correct. Tossed an oring on a feed plug I had on my bench and looks to feed nicely now.

You've got yourself a Puma there. An aftermarket .45 block has been added, possibly NPS or Pro-Line. The raised sight rail is Taso. That barrel is a Smart Parts All-Amrican. Then you've got the gas thru stock at the rear. Pumas are nice Cats. One neat feature is in the front ASA. It can be fitted vertical.

If you buy this, and it shows up running ok on HPA , don't mess with the fine tuning screws on the passenger side of the body ! You'll have trouble finding that sweet spot again, to allow it to recock.

Switch to CO2 and you should be able to fine tune it to recock pretty easily.

Fun Fact: If you switch to liquid CO2, you turn both adjustment screws all the way in till they bottom out, and in that config it runs great !

Managed to snag it at a fair price. Sell used to play with the marker. Looking forward to taking it all apart!
