Carter Buzzard Appraisal

I recently purchased a bundle of markers from a local field owner and one of the markers in the deal was a Carter Buzzard. I am not very familiar with them, and don't play much pump but I do collect markers and think it is a looker so kind of trying to gent an idea on value to see which way I would like to go. I made a post on Facebook and got some numbers and some offers but also had a lot of people say that I may get a more honest answer on here. It has a Dye UL for the barrel, was just gone through by a friend so in working condition.

I have been offered as much as $600 for my pink / yellow fade. I think $450 value is low but I could be wrong. A New VSC phantom is more then that and they aren’t collectible like the Carter’s are.

I would say that missing the original barrel hurts the value.
Unless I am wrong about that not being the original barrel, which is why I asked to see it.

With an original barrel 600 seems appropriate.

Those Dye Barrels are super nice I got one fixed bore and one Cbored. They are worth a decent amount to. Good luck with your sale. I love the fades Carter put on these they are really well done.

It sold for $550, which was an offer I received, without having a price listed so may have been able to squeeze more out of it if I waited. There was about 20 private messages when I posted an appraisal post on facebook.

$550 is a good price, I paid $725 shipped for mine but it was in perfect condition, came with inserts, second barrel and L stock. I sold my not so great condition blue one for 500 last year. Really just depends on the day, and pre-rona people had plenty of cash to drop on guns. The market dried up real fast last year.

I like that slider with the dust finish. Very nice!
