    Yard sale find

I know it’s a system X Xonix. I paid $40 for it and was told it was working fine the last time it was used.

how much luck will I have finding parts for it and rebuilding it. Do you suggest an amateur rebuild it or am I asking for trouble doing so? Any websites that would have parts? I don’t care about looks or things matching. I just want it running. Any upgrades suggested if I’m going to start replacing stuff? Thank you in advance.

These are cheaply made with cheap components and of course they said it worked last time they used it, 15 years ago lol. I'm sure it needs a complete rebuild top to bottom for all the seals. As far as the solenoid and electronic, who knows.

Should rebuild similar to most other autocockers. The ram probably uses the same orings as the WGP STO ram. Not sure on the LPR or HPR.

The electronics and trigger frame are basically an Eclipse Eblade. The stock board is a slightly different version (maybe 1.07 instead of 1.06?), the eye wire and connection are different than the standard eblade eye, but I’d bet the cocking solenoid is the same as the standard eblade solenoid.

The tough thing to replace is going to be the trigger guard.

      But even non-working I think $40 is a steal.

Get it working and have a fun shooter or flip for $250 or something.

I like most of the system X stuff, even if its not the best quality. If you want to double your investment and not mess with it... I've got $80 for ya' haha. Great find.

Just to be aware those lprs have reg seats that rot out really fast.

I highly doubt you're going to be able to find one of those

Would you recommend a lpr that doesn’t use them and would fit? I’m all for upgrading due to hassle down the road.

Without doing major parts changes you're stuck with that lpr

That’s reasonable. I think it may be worth it. Either spend the cash now and be done with it or have down time when I’m struggling to find parts for it. I know if they are truly hard to find I’ll be wishing I could just pay for a diff setup that has longevity to it rather than me worrying when it wears out next and if I will be able to find it again.
