I have a bottle of Battle Lube (no idea who made that) that must be 15+ years old. Is it still usable? The oil has a golden hue but otherwise looks fine.
Old paintball-specific oil - still good?

If it's full synthetic it should be fine

Thanks. The oil has a golden/brownish hue in the bottle but I just used it in my A-5 and saw that it is still pretty transparent when poured out of the bottle.
I was wondering: I went for the 'put a few drops of oil into the ASA, remove the barrel and cycle the gun a dozen times' routine. Silly question perhaps but do you need to put oil directly into the ASA air passage hole as opposed to if you put a few drops that pool around that hole the air will push it through? I couldn't 'aim' the oil into the ASA hole."Aren't you getting too old for this??"
"Nope."Comment

It needs to be said, be careful what you use the oil in the asa strategy in.
Anything with delrin in it, you absolutely do NOT want to just dump oil. Delrin is slightly porous, and it WILL absorb the oil and swell.
