I went to take male coupler off the top of an inline stab, a brass pin with attached spring came out, am I missing any components and do I need a specific depth for that male coupler or can I replace with with another fitting and still have the same operation?

Yes, you can use another fitting as long as it doesn't compress the spring to the point of collapse.
Also make sure the little flat disc of black urethane is still present, it should be inside. That pin is part of the reg seat assembly and seals against the urethane disc. -
Much appreciated. I was really needing to swap fittings so I'm definitely glad to hear that. Thank you Jordan.Yes, you can use another fitting as long as it doesn't compress the spring to the point of collapse.

Alright, So I was able to put some air to it and I was able to shoot a few shots but within a matter of moments from sitting it started to pout air out of the bottom, I assume through the adjuster. What is my initial source to look at?Comment

Piston oring.
You'll want a urethane 112-70 for that. Use a urethane, they work better than buna. If buna is all you got, use it until you find some urethane ones, they just work better.Comment
