Diagnosing Reg Creep

If i have a reg (stabilizer in this case) that I suspect is creeping, will i see that on my reg tester gauge as a slow steady increase in pressure to match the input pressure?

Yep, that's pretty much the definition of creep.

I had that issue recently on a male Stabilizer. I can’t remember if I flipped the reg seat or not but I replaced the no. 010 o-ring and it fixed the creep.

I figured it might be - I now I have 2 creeping stabs. when I first re-built them i did not replace the reg seats I suspect that may be the culprit here. have some on the way from Docfire.

It's more likely the 010 oring on the brass reg "nut", like trashcollector mentioned, or a bit of debris on the reg seat - they rarely actually go bad.

Rebuild it. It is super simple and then you can not think about it for the next 15 years.
