Snagged these today and looking to get more info and specifics. Apparently one is 1989 and one is 1995! Not sure if I will keep these so likely I will put them up for sale here. Updated photos!

Old WGP Sniper 1 with Stock - Value?

Nice sure on value so I'll have other jump in there, but the pump handles are on the wrong guns. No big deal if you sell them as a pair, but you'll want to switch them if you sell them individually.I am the admin... -

We've lovingly called them Sniper 1 1/2's for a long long time. It is a sniper 2 body, but they used up all the left over sniper 1 parts to build it. The only thing sniper 2 is the body. If anyone wants to blame the 1 1/2 on anyone, that was me. I coined that term so it is not official. It was just a way to differentiate the guns. I was sold mine, which looked just like OPs and it was sold as a Sniper 1 back in the day. It is a transitional Sniper 1. The sniper 2's had different grips, back block, barrel, pump handle, bolt... i mean everything was different. I believe they were selling off the older parts, still marketing the gun as a Sniper 1, but with the sniper 2 body. That's the best I could ever figure back then. It ran for only a few hundred bodies so I don't think anyone was loosing any sleep over it back then.
But this is how the guns came from the factory for that short period of time. Cool piece of history.I am the admin...Comment

Super cool. It is wild how verbiage comes about. Search engine and AI is tricky. Since the great MCB Forum reboot, the Internet has next to nothing in information about the Air Power Vectors...I have been sharing recently and it is what now comes up in searches. The CRAZY reality is that I could make a few posts with total disinformation and THAT info is what will populate AI. -
jonbobshinigin I do have a copy of the original APOG that I'm hosting here and you can find it here: https://mcarterbrown.com/ownersgroups/apog/index.shtml

In my collection I have another Sniper 1 1/2, and it came to me with two different back blocks. It seems it came with a Sniper 1 back block new, but it's first owner upgraded it to an early Sniper 2 back block, probably at the same time he added an Autotrigger.
Its fun how when you learn enough about assorted guns, parts, and modifications you will eventually be able to see a full story from looking at a gun.
And EVERYONE seems to be wanting that ribbed barrel. It's amazing how sometimes one obscure part becomes super popular.Comment

And just to really confuse you... Wgp/Bud didn't release serial numbers consecutive for stock body patterns. So a 20k serial number right feed could be a number off from an STOComment

I updated the post with some more photos. Replaced the valve oring in 1995 (black grip) and it holds air but velocity is very low. I may tinker with it and try to play with it this weekend!Comment
