Air Power Vector and Apex Employee Interview

Recently, I began sharing some photos of a Vector I acquired after having sold mine back in 2004-2005. With a local machinist, I was able to address the Valve Body Oring issue making it able to take a standardized O-ring and get it back onto the field. Since most of the Air Power content from the old MCB was wiped out, there is almost zero information on these like there once was. Michael Power, a previous employee of Air Power, found the post after a random Google Search. He commented and shared some of his story...and offered to do an interview. This seems like a great opportunity to do a video chat with him and those in the Group that are Vector/Apex owners. We would then be able to populate a Sticky post compiling it all! Let's use this post to brainstorm and tag those who should be in the Chat. We would record it as well and make it available to everyone.

    As for names:

    XEMON
    Ecapnation

Very cool! I was lucky enough to end up with Vector #000001 after a random find on ebay and the side plate was custom engraved with his initials. Wish I knew how he ended up with number 1. Here is the photo: https://www.vintagerex.com/pics/gunp...0(THE)%20A.jpg - he did call it a prototype and that Gino and him and another had these guns and got them engraved. Or so he said. Just wondering how all that came to be if anyone knows.

I'd love a inside scoop on the whole Gino battle.
My rust memory was that AP signed an exclusive deal to distribute via NPS.

When the Vector A came out, it was revolutionary. Solved lots of the issues that plagued the cocker. ie liquid friendly, antichop, pneu-trigger, etc.
Improvements were made with the B and C, but AP had signed a bad deal with NPS, and were trying to get out of it.

In revenge, Gino sack on the contract. Refused to distribute any, and effectivly put them out of business. But AP secretly worked on a modernized electro version, and was able to spin that off into the Rainmaker.

      Something like that
