A Species Timmy just popped up. What are these worth?

How much of a pain are these to work on?

I would say $350 and up depending on condition and anno. Not sure how much the frog anno adds. I do know that the eye covers, LPR, trigger, trigger guard, and bolt tube plug are all specific to the Species and are all worth a pretty penny on their own.

Intimidators are easy to work on IMO and require little maintenance.

Unless it's super cheap I would pass. If it's missing that much from the outside, who knows what someone did to the inside

They are fairly easy to work on, in my opinion they are just annoying though

Heard they are tough to avoid pinching wires etc. The milling is neat though. It’s currently listed as a Cyborg as it has a cyborg case, which means the person selling it has no idea about it. Asking more than I want to pay as well.

They’re not bad to work on unless you need to tear into the trigger frame. That’s a nightmare IMO.

This is true. I completely forgot to mention it. Bob never really designed in room for wires. Back when I was a BL legacy tech I had to replace more eyes because of pinched wires over any actual problem with the eyes themselves

I imagine the ad poster is getting tons of messages.

$400 CAD is his asking. I asked him a few questions but heard nothing back.

I dont remember someone having those kind of pictures in his post with good lighting, out of focus background and not taken on a clothe dryer...

Its not Meleager7 since the pictures are too good for his camera, but he also mentionned in his 2021 resolution he wanted to improve
its not Jordan since the picture is not taken outdoor on a wood log
its not BenoitOWN since there is no furry paw holding it
its not Cdn_Cuda cuda since there is no lego star war and a full storyline
its not Alexndl since its not on the floor or on a tech mat

Many other member living north of the border but none that I can currently think of 🤣

Original seller was asking $400CAD for it. And I made my quick buck on a Dye DMC.
