Tuxing HPA Bottles - Not Approved For USA Field Use?

SO, I was looking for a big-honkin' 4500 HPA bottle to feed my Classic RT Mag, and came across the Tuxing PCP HPA bottles which only seem to carry the Product Certification CE / EN approved, and do not have DOT approval. This makes them effectively useless when playing at a field, yes? And thus a bad deal?

2.5l equates to a 152 ci tank. Are you sure you even want one that large? Seems a bit excessive, even for a Mag.

I believe these tanks do not have the same threads for the regulator, which I think is a bigger problem imo

Correct. M18x1.5 on this tank vs 5/8"-18 for paintball tanks. If this tank is really wanted, then it might warrant research into compatible regulators or a custom regulator adapter (output side, not tank side) if this size of on-marker tank was desired.

Some of us want to go Jesse Ventura from Predator. :P 10 q-pods and a giant-ass tank!

Just reminding you of the physics of potential energy of 152 ci of 4500 psi air right next to your head....in a tank from temu.

On the bright side, in the event of a complete failure no lessons would be learned from this. Not by the user anyway.

A buddy of mine had one of the old Nitro Duck 134s.

              That was a monster.

              Doc.

Right wrong or indifferent, I haven’t been checked for hydro at a fill station in at least five years, probably approaching a decade.

At least once a year for me at big games... Sometimes at the local field.

...but it shows paintballers in the pictures , so it must be good for that...

I also see it says a hydrotest period of every 3 years, instead of 5.
