ID:	88260 Working on my DMC and I’ve got a consistent leak with my Dye airport on/off. It’s the style without the copper insert. What oring do I use and where does it go?! One thread of PBM (forgive me!) say it’s an 007 oring but that example has the metal insert and doesn’t actually show the oring...

    Has to be... surely....

You'll need a dental pick to get it out.

That was my guess as well, but can’t seem to get it to work. Maybe I just need to play around with it more. I suppose I could also be missing that insert as well. No oring in it when I took it apart.

FYI - I updated my post about 30sec after the first version. Not sure which one you caught.

On second thought, I bet there isn't a groove at all... Is there another bore on the side that the black knob goes in? If I were designing this, that's where I'd put it.

I saw your first post, not the edit. I’ve used a pick there and no groove as far as I can tell. The other side is just flush, so no spot for a oring. I actually put an oring on both sides but still leaked. Got enough air so that the gun would shoot once or twice but my air is scarce. So wasn’t going to waste it.

Took another look and you are right, there appears to
be a groove there just filled with remnants of old oring. I’m using my pick to scrape it out. Thanks!

And after much fighting with that oring I finally got it into place and everything works! No leaks, shoots well. Going to have to grab some paint and shoot a couple rounds.

And threw on a Halo too and happily shot a whole bunch of paint!
