Autococker hose advice.

Hi guys , I picked up some hose off ebay to replace the old stuff on my 3way. The hose fits the barb on the 3way but not the ram barb. Is there a trick to this. Sorry I'm kinda new to cookers. Thanks 😊

There are 2 different common sizes. 1/8 OD and 5/32 OD. Both 1/32 wall thickness. The larger giving more flow for faster ram action.

I usually stick the end of the hose onto a slightly bigger allen wrench (the 3rd one on a DYE multitool if that helps) and heat the hose a bit with a lighter. Don't heat it too much or it will just deform when you try to put it on.

This is what I do, minus the heat (never tried that). I just stick an allen wrench in it for a few minutes & that usually works for me.

I'll be honest, I've never seen anything other than 1/8" OD/1/16" ID hose used on Cockers. Where have you seen the larger hose used?

Not sure if anything came that way stock (with 5/32). But it's very common for aftermarket bits. I run it very explicitly on my pneucockers since the hose needs to also feed the trigger.

Just wiggle it onto the barb using pliers. It's a tight fit on those stock WGP barbs! Takes patience.
