Spanky Autococker (with flames!) converted to a pump

Somehow I came across those YouTube videos from Paintball History about the milling work done by Chris Ogaz at TNC Products, which prompted to me to dig my stuff out.
When I bought this (~2003), I was told it was a Spanky body, but I don't know if it had a name. The weirdest thing is that this body is painted, which I didn't realize when I purchased it. Teenage me thought I was getting a steal of a deal on a righteous fade flame anno job!

Here's what I remember about it:
    • 99 style Spanky Autococker body
    • Angel threaded feedneck
    • Spanky back block
    • Shocktech bolt (I think?)
    • KAPP Twister Cocking Rod with lots of idiot marks
    • Not sure what kind of beavertail that is?
    • Some sort of aftermarket valve, but I didn't pull it out to see if I could ID it. Maybe Madman, or something like that?
    • KAPP Stainless Steel Hammer
    • KAPP Groovy Slider Frame with a polished trigger plate and Hogue grips
    • Centerflag Inline regulator
    • System X Drop Forward with On/Off ASA
    • A pump kit from somewhere... maybe White Wolf Airsmithing or Wevo paintball?
After pulling all this stuff out, I might want to keep it, and start playing again.
But then again... playing pump requires skill, which I'm sure I have lost at this point.

I have a cocker with a similar paintjob. I wonder if it was the same person. The paint on mine has held up extremely well though!

Oh nice, I like the colors on that one! And it looks like you took way better care of yours. The paint on mine definitely wasn't that bubbly when I put it away.

Also, that body looks very similar to my FBM Tear drop/ Warped Monkey body. Seems like everything is similar except the tear drop milling.

Ive been one who teetered on pump for years, always sighting my skill, or lack there of.

Last year I played almost exclusively pump. And i realized its more about fitness. Pumping takes more energy to play, and hold form to aim. My left bicep and tricep would just burn at big games while ripping rounds. It makes you tired faster, but to me it takes less aiming skill as having your pump hand as an additional stabilizer seems to make me shoot better.

Long story short, dont let your loss of skill make you sell your pumps.

To answer your question, I ha e no clue on true value, but Id say its a $425 shooter.

Yeah, it is probably worth me spending a Sunday out at the field to see what I still have. Hanging around on these boards is definitely making we want to play again!

You likely got it from me lol

Whoa! That is awesome. When I was in high school, I did so much yard work to save up for this one. If I remember right, it came with a full front block, but I don't remember what was on it (or what happened to any of it). I just remember that my friends thought I was a magician because I could time an Autococker.

If it's the one I built it should have had a matching shroud.

Hmm... I don't think it came with a matching shroud. If it did, then I'll be kicking myself for getting rid of it!
Perhaps there was an owner in between you and I? I'm trying to remember where I bought it, likely PbN, but I didn't see anything in any of my old Post/PMs in my account there.
Working...
