    Blazer barrel info help

I THINK it’s a gen 1, since I feel like there was a difference at some point. Painted black, small bore, quad porting, triple wedgits, 10” total length.

any thoughts on a price would be appreciated. Thanks!

$50-$60 given the ID is ~0.685 or smaller given it is vented and Wedgitted. 1K barrels work just fine on both 1K and 2K bodies just not the other way around.

On a 2K youll have 0.27" of narrowed/un-painted barrel in front of the gun.

Yup, but has no effect on functionality just aesthetics. I use a couple 1K barrels occasionally with my Blazer and my Pyre.

If it was smaller bore it would be marked with the size or with a number of turned rings. Also pre 2k blazer barrels that are not .689 are pretty rare.

That said I find the standard bore is still usable, with the wedgits.

I don't think PPS was ever very consistent on marking their barrels. I have three I purchased direct from PPS and none of them are marked [i.e. turned rings] (all ~0.685 with calipers)

I had sized it with paint that I knew to be .684-685ish with freak inserts, but I will try and find my calipers to verify.

I ask on value because I was trying to make a decision on attaching it to a PGP with a sleeved back end, but I will use the original barrel and pass this along instead, especially if someone else can use it as intended.

        thanks everyone!
