PT Professional pistol w 2 magazines

Airs up with no leaks. Can’t get it to cycle - not sure why. I thought the lower tube in front would fit a 12g, but it’s too long. Is there a smaller size?

otherwise in decent condition. Some idiot marks on the front screw for the cartridge retainer. Both mags work fine.

If anyone has questions on these I can help,I did a ton of research on these. They are the precursor to the Armotech Zeus and share very little with the previous marker the PT Enforcer

Can it also be run off of 12 grams?

Yes, but looks like you're missing the CO2 cap for it. Good news it's any standard ASA threaded plug will be a suitable replacement. You'd need to remove the constant air set up from it first for the co2 cartridge to go in

And once we figure out what it is, lmk what your offers are 😉

12 gram may not fit because of the constant air adaptor installed.

The constant air adapter doesn’t intrude into the bottom tube. The 12g cap is present - it’s screwed into the bottom tube. I’ll get pictures later.

The few of the similar pistols I've dealt with have all had adjustable front caps. Is it threaded or anything on this one?

Also if you are willing to break it out I would be interested in one of the magazines

The front cap is threaded. There are two orings on the front cap that make installation and removal difficult. Anyone have official oring sizes for it? Manual?

Any pictures of the constant air adapter?

This is the manual for the pt jr. How does the front end compare?

I know I've heard of the professional before this thread but man, there's only a handful of references to it on the web at all. It's basically a marker forgotten to time

Also, is the pierce towards the back of the marker? If so, you could always drill and tap that front cap for a screw so it's adjustable.

Ok, sorry I took so long to get back to everyone. Lots happening in life right now.

Here are some pics of the marker disassembled. There’s a lot here that screams “Spyder!”

The hammer is essentially a Spyder hammer, and the bolt feels like it’s Teflon-coated. The rear-cocking mechanism is kinda cool - there’s a small black o-ring that holds it forward after the first shot. It slides on a long thin bolt. Interestingly the spring reminds me of a Tippmann 98/A5 main spring.

The valve is really interesting. It is held in place with the typical stbb brass grub screw and also a small steel grub screw closer to the front. The CA line does not interfere with the bottom tube - the valve slides out the front just like on a Spyder. On one side is the valve stem, on the other is a 12g piercing pin. The plug for the bottom is a pita to get in and out and has taken damage over the years. I taped up a big screwdriver to prevent further damage.

The bottom tube has a pin across it to keep the hammer from pushing it, just like Spyders do.

                Anything else peeps wanna see?

What's on the face of that front plug screw? The side that faces the 12g, anything?

So you need a screwdriver to change 12g? Odd choice

I'm really wondering if that's an original part or something that someone improvised because they lost the original

The side that faces the 12g is just a concave face, presumably to center the 12g. Yes, the flathead 🪛 isn’t fun to operate. The threads on the plug are, I believe, standard tank threads.

Yeah I'd just drill a hole through that and thread it for a set screw. That way you have some adjustability

Since you would have the hole through it already, you could fashion up a bolt with a wing nut for the other side, that way you could remove it without needing tools

Well back to the original point of this thread, I’ll be honest in saying that I’m sure someone on this forum would appreciate this rare piece of paintball history more than I would.

Anyone have any guesses as to what this might be worth? Could we tag some users on the thread who might have more knowledge about this or similar platforms? I’d prefer to leave it up to the eventual owner to figure out what to do with the front plug.

I might be interested depending on the price. I could use that second magazine for another project anyway
