ID:	411377 Greetings, I am curious to hear your thoughts on why the Lonestar stowaway grips are priced so high. I understand they are no longer produced, but surely there are other options out there.

On eBay, they are selling for more they $100 with a high over $200. I’m intrigued because these grips were often found on Nelson clones in the year 1990s - and I didn’t think they were highly valued, especially against the Bushmaster 45 grip.

No idea... Not too many guns these will fit on and the ones they do already have them on for the most part.

Oh no! Had I known this I could have been a rich man. /s

I sold 5 of them for about $80 about a month ago because they've sat un-used on my table for way too long. Seems a little high for what they are.

Thats crazy. I sold one to a mcber for like 25 bucks last year.

I think the real steel market keeps them high in demand.

I think classic AR gun guys are obsessed with these. After seeing them sold out and talked up on a few sites, I think that is the explanation.

Yeah.... Retro build AR dudes are going nuts for them right now. I've sold a few at gun shows I've walked into

                Insane. That's a $5 grip.

The SAS used to use them on their earlier C8 carbines. I'd imagine people like to make clones.

Utterly stupid. This grip is too crappy for people who actually shoot their guns so…naturally the “AR guys” (barf) love it.

I had no idea they were actually being used for something else... Huh. Learned something today. I can go home now.

I thought of these as worthless. I may have a few laying around if I didn't throw them in with some "lot" sale just to get rid of them.
