Hi- I'm cleaning out old stuff, and I came across my old Sheridan rifle. Its dusty, but the action still slides works albeit its pretty gummy. I don't have any cartridges to test it with, but I'd bet it leaks The stock is fairly beat up, but mostly just the finish coming off. Not terribly beat. I used it alot when I used to play back in the 1990s, but its been sitting ever since. What's this worth? (and thanks in advance!!)

Last one that sold went for $400 (local pick up) but had a pretty decent stock.

I think the plan then is to put a CO2 cartridge in it to make sure its not too fouled up, and then market it. Is it worth it to repair/reseal it before selling? Or do people tend to want to do that work themselves?

It depend on the buyer, if they plan to change the barrel or make it freak compatible the valve will have to come out anyway. And on those its quite simple to rebuild with the valve out.
