It's my understanding that clear frames are the valuable part of a clear Proteus.

Black is much less desirable.

I bought a new in box clear proteus (V2) at one point and it had the black frame. Was the clear frame only associated withthe V1s?

Yes but those thin black frames bring a decent amount to. Those work on any other flex / Proshield.

Facebook is your market. You got a good deal on them if I remember correctly. Hence the reason you should let me match them to your MBP because they are goofy retro cool.
