    AKALMP Merlin ultralight body kit

This is a certain air of mystery surrounding this body kit.

So many details are dead on matches to the Splat Attack Revenge V2. Merlin Body, similar milling, p block rear end.

The "Merlin Ultralight" jewel and lack of inline layout run counter to that conclusion.

I posted pictures of this some time back hoping to learn more from the MCB collective genius.

So, any thoughts on market value? Click image for larger version

I'm interested in this if you hit a price. I don't know whats up with the combination of parts and badges though.
Internals initially do not look like AKA though, is a valve in it?
    Body is pretty rough.

The more I look the weirder it is!

It's got the milling from a V3 but the V2 sight rail
The Frontblock of a V1/stock merlin
      Backblock is a V2
      And it's a mini like the V2/3

My first thought was it was supposed to be a halfway step between a V1 and V2 as mini'ing a V1 would make sense as an "Ultralight" but having the V3 milling means that's unlikely. Maybe intended to be the V2's successor when the V3 layout proved a little too weird/finicky?

What is the best method of confirmation for that detail?

coyote picture with the front block off

Also measure the thickness of the bottom banjo hole to base of body. They release a few that were pre-2k with a standard spec body. One pictured above would be an example.

I began breaking this old girl down to clean her. The bottom tube is so lousy with old paint I can not move the hammer to take in the lug.

            I didn't.

It moved on to another MCBer. Hopefully one with more time and ambition than I have.
