Micromag 2k9 - Body kit value - Or person to fix velocity issue

    2K9 Micromag body kit.
I have had this for years. Got full velocity with one classic valve... Then tried others with level 10 and it would not, and some other classics didn't fit right....

Anyway I am either going to move it along, or get the depth fixed so it can be used.

Do you know: What I should sell this for, or who has successfully fixed these so they work properly. I know Luke has, but he won't do the work since he has a competing product.

    Memornix ?

Seems like this guy figured it out too. Lathe and a boring bar. Maybe he is still around.
Awhile back I bought a lot of 2k9 mags from Woouulf with the intention of digging into the "so called" velocity issues. Well, Today is finally the day to dig in. I have built up 2 of them both with X-valves (will test classic valves also) So far, I have found 2 things: 1st, the barrels are huge and with the

So one thing that I noticed when trying trying to work on one of these was that it isn't only the depth of the main large diameter from the valve side that holds the spring back, it is also the distance from the feedback hole to the rear valve hole that caused issues. They are too far apart and lead to the bolt not going far enough forward to seal well. It is easy to observe by putting your hand over the feedback while pulling the trigger. You usually get a large puff of air. I have seen a bump up in some of the velocity by making the main diameter deeper, but the same effect can be achieved by trimming the bolt spring to allow for the bolt to have less pre-loading.
