    Beat up 14" Dye Phantom Barrel

    I got this as part of a lot and don't really have a use for it as I like the stock freak bored barrel. The lot came with a CCI era phantom, an original freak bored barrel and this dye barrel which has seen better days. It has a crack where the 2 pieces are glued together and some other scuffs but luckily the inside of the barrel is in perfect shape. I know people seem to like these for their phantoms, but I have no idea if it'd be worth anything to anyone in this condition.

    Any pricing advice is welcome and feel free to make any offer if someone wants it, I'll ship same or next day from TX.

    I'm not sure on value, but I know that Chuck E Ducky likes these barrels and may have better advice.

      I have a bunch of these two in gloss black thanks for thinking of me. Definitely one of my favorite Phantom barrels.

    In good condition 100ish I have and had a couple of these. Awesome barrels. This one maybe $75ish? $80?

      I have a stock of these barrels in unglued condition and I have found they can be bored for Inserts but it is best to do this before they are glued. Your barrel in your condition I would offer it at $50 and not really budge on the price. These barrels were a special order from Dye by Paintball Charleston (PBC) most likely close to 20 years ago.

      Looking closer at the images that crack looks pretty bad and the down the barrel shot looks like it is not concentric. I am guessing someone tried to re-glue the barrel.

        Thanks for the info ! I tried the time honored test of putting it on a table and rolling it and seems like it may have a small wobble so you may be right about a re-glue job. The marker it came with was from Hawaii and definitely looked like it had been ridden hard and put up wet a few times, but miraculously still gassed up and shot (just needed a new puncture pin assembly ).

        I'll list it over in the BST for $40 shipped and note the condition, same as this post, and see if anyone is interested.
