Notice anything NOT weird about this Cocker?

Picked up this project cocker as something to putz around with and just got it in today. Of course the screen is dead, but when you put a battery in it is clicking. But not loud enough, and that’s when I noticed…



So I feel like Im out of my element, before I mess anything up, what does an MQ valve go for?

Check the bolt to see if it's upside down. MQ valves sometimes stick.

200 for the MQ valve.

Nice! I know I saw a pdf of a manual for the valve at some point. I’m concerned about overpressurizing it and making it worthless.

Plug the mq valve into the cocking noid slot, that might open the valve a bit. Almost positive I milled the body and frame.

Does the belly of the body have milling to reduce weight?

I’ll have to break it all down to check it out. It would be crazy if this is one that you did.

I dont get it.. You didn’t know it was an mq build?

I never put it together that there’s not room in a UL frame for a clapper noid, looking back at the messages I sent the guy, he did put that in the description but I lost it in the jumble of other stuff.

For value, the last one I saw sell went for 300 or 350 i forget. Valve alone. That was a mq2, mq1 are less

For over pressure, don't worry too much, they will start venting if you give them too much pressure.

I have one in my cocker, they are fantastic, very smooth but do require some tuning to set up right
