I was literally just writing a post about this since I'm looking into buying one. Good thing I saw this.
On eBay it's roughly 40 bucks for a shooter and 150 for a never used one in the box. I haven't seen too many below or above that. $60 can get a decent one with the original box.
The real question is how can make sure you get a good one. That's what my concern is. With them being 40 years old now that plastic is getting really old. Wonky shooting is sure to be an issue.

They are actually pretty robust. We have a few members making cool upgrades for them as well. Like Speed feed Printed front ends and freak bored barrels with metal guts. They are sprung much lighter then the stock setups making them a lot more efficient to. It’s one of the few pumps that can be fired one handed. They are a lot of fun to play with. You can find functional stock ones for like $50

I am finally trading my brand new in Box unused splatty.

If paint was regular size I would keep it...

I had a few in the 80's and if you got a good one it shot as straight as any marker out there.

I've bought a few for like 30 bucks. All of them work and one is even the rarer brown color.

There is a black shell one as well I wouldn’t mind finding only because it would match my Accessories.

Huh, never seen a black one. I'll be on the lookout for one of those for sure.

I’m pretty sure I remember a black one. Unless it was painted. There was a Splatmaster thread with a bunch of unique color ones. Maybe it was in one of Kit’s thread when he was making the internals for them.

Not at all just not common. They were heavier as well, and meant to mimic the weight of real steel for training.
