depends on the player really... I'd say non-destructive tuning mods like rva's & palmer's style valve work as a plus, while kp2's with crude direct feed cuts as negative (i have a few in still need to rebarrel). as an example, on my k2 I went with rva, valve tune, homebrew backspin bolt, fasstchanger, and thadapter. personally I'm not a fan of dropout cuts on k-series
I have a very playable KP2 I listed for 700 about a year ago, but didn't receive any interest. It's got a spring-feed tube, rear velocity adjuster, 12g dropout, Fasst changer, ball detent, and quick-strip bolt.
It may be, but a nice non-functioning one still runs 250-350, and the mods cost me 750 to get done. I know everyone's taste is different and all that, but that price is what's comfortable to me.
I know Freak'd Sheridans aren't for everyone but I would consider some kind of paintball retention system to be crucial for anyone trying to play SC with today's paint. Fastchangers are also a big selling feature, and a RVA setup.
