Help Valuing AutoCocker and its Condition

This was a recent FB marketplace pickup, If im not mistaken, its a WGP Oracle. I am unaware if it works but the condition is super pristine so i am assuming though. I am fairly new to paintball, can someone help me figure out the following:

    1. How to go about testing it safely
    2. valuing this thing because the market seems to be from 500 upwards of 1000+
    3. is this the complete set? Assuming those are the original barrels

Thanks for everyones time and help

Beautiful pumpkin fade orracle. I doubt it is but is the other side of the body drilled for eyes? That would affect value a lot.

Send it to firpo or docfire if you’re not sure on tuning. For $100 bucks it will come back better than factory new.

Orracle, that looks to be in pretty nice shape. Cocker market is down, so expect on the lower end if you are trying to sell it. You may be able to sell it for $500, but it could also sit for a while, stuff isn't moving like it used to. In terms of testing it, the biggest safety question is the tank. Make sure you use an unexpired tank, in good condition. Inspect the macro and microline hoses for any sort of obvious issues, then try airing it up. Just cock the gun, then slowly twist the ASA knob in. You will know right away if you have an sort of issue and where it is coming from. If it has been sitting a while you can expect leaking, which will indicate that it needs rebuilt.

$500 is a little steep. Other than bizzare ebay outliers.

I wouldn't say $500 is out of line considering the condition and original parts. I paid $650 at the height of post-covid insanity for one in very similar condition. $450 would get it moved fast even in the current market.

From my limited experience the most likely seals to be leaking are valve, 3way, lpr seat. If you want quick cash sell it as is, or rebuild it and maybe get a bit more. If you are local to me I would even teach you how if you dont already know

Really no offense meant by this but if you don't know how to test a marker and are new to paintball, a cocker probably isn't the right marker for you. In general they require a fair bit of understanding in order to keep them running right.

That is a nice find and if you are just looking to flip it, well sell it here, nobody here will care if it's been tested or not. A lot of us rebuild a marker when we first get it so we know it has fresh o rings in it.
