Original Sat Cong Sniper 1 #170

So this is something very special.

This is the very 1st paintball gun I owned. Got it brand new as a gift for my 15th birthday in 1988.

An Original Sat Cong Sniper 1 #170, with the sqaure ASA.

Funny enough I wouldn't get to play at Sat Cong Village until like 2002 or 03, when they held the 1st airsoft game they allowed there.

Got it at the Survival Store in Las Vegas (they had a small paintball section at the time, right next to their gun range).

I had changed the wire stock to an L stock, and the wood grips to battle grips, as well as adding the dovetail when I played with it.

The auto-trigger was already installed on it when I got it. That is the orignal 10oz thermo tank on it.

Has 4 bull barrels, 9", 13", 16" and 20". The 16" barrel is what it came with.

I have had it cased and in storage for over 30 years. I think the last time I used it was around '92 or '93.

So needless to say, it will need a full rebuild.

I’ve never seen an autotrigger that was back block actuated. The market has cooled down a little bit but I’m sure you can get a good amount for it.

It’s hard to value somebody’s 1st PB gun! Short answer is not enough for the sentimental value!

Ive had 3 sniper 1s. Each sold for a different price and I actually gave my third one away as a prize at spew a few years ago.

First one I sold at $250, the second around $400. The first one was in the best condition and had the original bull barrels as well.

Id put yours up for $600 and let them talk ypu down. Just my .02.

I don't need it at all, but I'd buy it just for the story. Yeah, these just don't have the value they should in my opinion... Why i own too many I suppose, I can't pass them up. It was one of my first guns also.

I agree with the $600 and work your way down, bit don't be surprised if you do get the $450 offers.

Found my original patches from when I used this. Value for these? Better to include everything as a package, or sell the patches separately?
