Wintec Thunderbolt and Brass Eagle Golden Eagle

I'm helping my father in law sell off his paintball collection. He played a lot back in the early 90's and again when I met him in the early 2000s. Among other things, he has a Wintec Thunderbolt and Brass Eagle Golden Eagle. These are the two that I thought might have the most value, but I have no idea what that would be. Any help is appreciated!

What’s the finish on the Golden Eagle? Tape or a vinyl of some kind? There was a stock one up here in the last year for $350 or so I believe. I almost bought it then to go with my BE Poison.

I’ve sold a Thunderbolt II and a Thunderbolt III here a few years back. $150 would be close.

I thought there was only a single Thunderbolt? Looks like you sold a Scorpion II and III a while back (I did not realize Wintec made those!)

I believe it's some kind of vinyl. I'll find out. Thanks.

I can't help with price but I would be interested in buying the thunderbolt if / when you decide on a price

I agree with BigRed, ~$150 seems right for the Thunderbolt. No idea about the Golden Eagle.

Also I'm sure we are all curious to see what other stuff your father in law has, even if it isn't valuable.

These are the only vintage guns he has, but he also has a Dangerous Power Fusion with a couple of ePipe barrel sets and a bunch of hoppers.

I'm not sure. He broke it out years ago and we shot it in the back yard. But it's been a while.

Golden Eagles can go surprisingly high depending on the audience, I think I've seen them hit as much as 600 on eBay but couldn't say for sure now. I paid about half that for mine.

I had a Golden Eagle a few years ago. SO fun. There's a ton of reciprocating mass crashing back and forth. Makes a VM seem dainty. But surprisingly ball-on-ball accurate out of that stubby barrel. Also, horribly inefficient. I ran a 10oz under the stock and a 24oz remote, and got maybe a hopper and 2 pods.

      If I weren't purging, I'd offer 350-ish.

The tape on the golden eagle is neat, but the value will depend on the color. The common ones were gray, green, and black.

Looks like black maybe…you can just make it out on the bottom side of the trigger frame (forward of the trigger).

I picked up the guns this past weekend and I stripped the camo tape off of the Brass Eagle. Looks like a grayish blue finish. I'm probably going to post these to ebay unless anyone here is really interested in either of them. Is it ok to post ebay links here?
