    PTP VMX

I picked up a lot of stuff today and this vmx was in a bag with some spyders and a cocker, I know their rare and thats about it.

I'm normally good on pricing things, but vm68 stuff is outside my scope, ant idea what a fair price to ask on this would be?

    Thanks

Nice! It’s not everyday you come across a VMX. I wonder what kind of expansion chamber that is? Very cool marker 🍻

I'd have to do a little bit of research Forest might have better info than I do it's going to depend on whether it's an original VMX or one of the later ones that had an issue. If it's an original one and fully functional price is anywhere from $100 to $200 depending on condition. What would be the deciding factor is if it's an original complete vmx or if it's one of the body kits

I would give two different estimates of value.
First, to the true "collectors" it's a unique piece. The feed and detent were proprietary to Pro-Team. The Stowaway grip is a bonus.
What caught my attention was the lack of a trigger safety. The notch in the body to lock the bolt is positively archaic.
So, should someone attempting to build a museum of paintball, they might go up to $250-$300.
These people are few and far between.

A more realistic view is that the majority will view it as a relic and not worth much.
It's bulky and boxy, no clean milling and no fancy anodizing. Just fugly. Unattractive.
In all honesty, I think you'd be lucky to top $125.

stock barrel kinda hints it was a body kit... but it has the correct trigger guard. main thing is whether it holds air & cycles, some of the later body kits were so far out of tolerance they couldn't cycle and were basically scrap. iirc the last one I sold cycled & I think I got 150-200 for it
