Hard to say. 8 years ago these things were like $150, but I’ve seen them going for up to $300. I think the MG/EMF series may have killed their value a bit. I would price it at like 250-300 OBO if you’re looking for an expedient sale, but other magfed enthusiasts may know better than I.
The advantage a TCR has over a TiPX is that it has a valve that has been opened up more to run on compressed air better.
I believe those valves have been in the TiPX for the last 15 years or so. Wasn’t it one of the improvements when they added the “i” to TPX? If it wasn’t then, it was in one of the later unannounced revisions.
I remembered seeing that about the TCR valve, so i asked about it when i sent my TiPX in for service. Tippmann told me it already had the updated valve.

I don't think so. I always thought the "i" was added because a popular baseball bat is branded TPX already? I swapped my TiPX valve body with a TCR valve body, at least I thought it was a TiPX.
It was definitely an upgrade scenario because you could send in your TPX and the old Mags and they would upgrade them to the new internals and new mag style for you.
If they changed it because something else had the same name, then about half of all markers on the market would need to change because companies keep recycling the same stupid names for their stuff. Apparently the industry can’t be bothered with thinking up new names on a regular basis.
Yeah I'm not up to date on all the changes through the years but my understanding was there are differences between the tpx and tipx but the tcr valve was still different than the tipx in that it has more volume
Just my recollection, I could be wrong
