PPS double barrel over under hurricane

I guess there's some interest in this beast, so I'm wondering what it would fetch, given the current market conditions and uniqueness of this one. I'm not super keen to see it unless the price is right, it's super unique and super impractical, but I just don't use it enough.

Don't shoot the messenger I may be off about on exact dates, but this is what I recall in my conversations form JDHoots (original owner), Still Gar (who helped with the sale) and Craig Palmer.Built around 2012(2014?) along with 4 others of various finishes and stocks, it's a .685 bore hurricane. I got it in 2021 and used it a few times to scare the local rec ball kids, but then it sat for a season and leaked from under the stock. Jordan got it functional again, and I played with it a few more times before it started leaking down the barrel.

My local tech, Sinister Tech, gave it a once over and replaced some seals but was unable to find the source of the leak. Likely something in the valve.

I've seen nasty typhoons and other double barrel PPS concoctions sell from $700-1800 in the last 4-5 years so I really have no idea.

Its always the oring on the piece before the valve that the air line screws into.

    Its seriously the worst design.

Hi AtBen,can you describe how it feeds? Does it jam, or break paint frequently in this config?

Also, can Palmers stuff be finessed into ruger 10/22 composite (or similar) type stocks? Has anyone tried this?

With enough confidence and the right Dremel bits, anything is possible. It feeds fine as long as you remember what it's doing. All you need to remember is to hold the trigger back long enough for both balls to drop (ba-dum-tiss).

I try to think of it like using a brass rock and cock pump, but the trigger is my arm pumping; i.e. leaving the pump arm back while rocking a ball into the chamber, before pumping forward and closing the bolt. It's definitely not built for speed.

But the pure hilarity of a double brass bloop is worth the learning curve. From angry milsim dads, to airball bros who forgot there's no open speedball on Sundays, everyone say "wtf was that?" whenever you let it off within 25 feet of anything.

This video isn't bad for its age.
