    Armson Semi

    Hey!

I got this awhile ago, but I haven't used it, and have more interest in my silly Ion and 98 projects. I know it has a collectors value in places, and I am curious to see where it stands.

    Armson Semi
    -I believe it's a factory colour?
    -10" Barrel (Armson Rifled)
    -16" Barrel (Armson Rifled)
    -Expansion chamber bottle
    -Expansion chamber cap
-Original (Very expired but probably has sentimental/collectors value) Armson branded tank & Buttplate

    What is it worth? Thanks!

2 inch and under tanks don't require rehydro

As for a price I can't say, its a limited collector market

True, but still have a defined life, typically 15 years until expiration.

I don't know the value on this at all. But if it isn't too much I would be interested in it. That's an unusual item to add to my fleet of blowbacks. I have plenty now, but want to get more weird stuff!

Unless... Are these a blow forward spring return design?

Confirmed blow forward, still curious about it. But I wouldn't be a collector on it.

That bottle & expansion chamber configuration is wild! Very cool piece that looks to be well-cared for/preserved.

I know they like CO2, but I can't really talk to the reaction if liquid gas reaches the chamber outside of a velocity spike and the annihilation of any old school safetly equipment. So it's probably more sensible to run tank forward and expansion rearward to "buffer"

As for condition, I am also suprised, but then again I feel there's something to this marker. The prior owner was selling a relative's old gear and apparently used to run a field (before my time) with Armsons part of it's fleet. Anything past that is assumption but I wouldn't be suprised if this was someones limited run marker they kept on their wall.

Those used armson semis sat on ebay for ages at $250. But they were used and looked it. This one is in really decent if now new condition so Walker's assessment I would have to go with also.

Very nice! I really like the forward facing tank.
I have never had any issue running them on CO2 or HPA. I actually run mine on about 650psi HPA.

I would think the $400-$450 range would be fair on this based on the ones I sold. I sold mine between $200 and $800 depending on condition.

Several of those old green rental ones I had sat on eBay for sometime at $250, but generally I only had one or two up at a time and once one sold I would replace it with another. I did sell all of them, but it took a little while.
